Sean Golden returned to Elite Behavior Analysis after two and a half years of working in special education at the elementary school level. A 2001 graduate of The University of Southern Mississippi with a Masters in Education specializing in College Student Personnel Services from the University of Southern Mississippi where Sean counseled and advised college students. Also a 2008 graduate of East Tennessee State University with a Masters of Arts in Teaching- K-8. Sean has provided behavior services in the East Tennessee Region as a DIDD Approved Behavior Analyst through Elite Behavior Analysis since 2004.

Nichole Henry, M.Ed.

Nichole Henry has been involved in psychology for the past five years. She was introduced to the field of Applied Behavior Analysis in 2002 when she began working with at risk children and adolescents at a local mental health center. In 2003, she began working at a center for individuals with developmental disabilities. Nichole was inspired to further her education from working with individuals with developmental disabilities and problematic behavior. She enrolled in the counseling program at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga and earned a Masters in Community Counseling in 2006. After receiving her degree, she worked as a foster care placement specialist at a psychiatric hospital for children and adolescents. In 2007, she started working for Elite Behavior Analysis. Nichole is a member of of TABA and is a DIDD Approved Behavior Analyst.

Michael LaPaglia, M.A., BCBA

Michael joins Elite Behavior Analysis from the West Region of Tennessee where he served as a Behavior Analyst providing Behavior Supports to persons with developmental disabilities.  Michael has been in the field as a Behavior Analyst for over 16 years, and has extensive experience in training and teaching. 

Michael has been an adjunct professor in Behavior Analysis for St. Joseph’s University since 2009, where he teaches graduate level courses for the Criminal Justice program with classes that have been approved by The Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).

 Michael graduated from the State University of New York with both a B.A. and an M.A. in Psychology.

Joyce Lawson

Joyce has lived in the Metropolitan Chattanooga area all of her life and has two daughters. She has studied marketing and Georgia Northwestern and has a background in marketing and sales. Joyce is now the administrative assistant with Elite Behavior Analysis LLC. She works with all key people to help keep the office running smoothly and orderly.

Matthew Lavery, BCBA

Matthew has worked as a behavior analyst in various capacities since
2006. He attended the College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, VA,
where he received his Bachelors in Psychology. He earned his Masters
degree at Vanderbilt University in Behavior Analysis and Special
Education. Since then, he has worked with adults and children with
developmental disabilities. He is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst
and certified special education teacher. He currently attends law school at the University of Tennessee-Knoxville. Matthew is a TABA member and DIDS-approved behavior analyst.

Jodie grew up in Georgia. She attended Florida State University and recieved her masters in Psycholoy. She presented a paper at the Florida Association for Behavior Analysis in October of 2009 on “Paper Recycling in a Univeristy Library”. While in graduate school she worked with children with developmental disabilities with FSU’s Early Childhood Autism Program and Brillant Minds. She also voulnteered at Second Chance of Northwest Florida inc., which was a day program for brain injury victims. She is currently working in the Knoxville Area.

Marcus Perez, MA

Executive Director and Founder of Elite Behavior Analysis

Marcus Perez, MA is the founder of Elite Behavior Analysis, a company specializing in working with adults and children with developmental disabilities and problematic behaviors.  A 2000 graduate of Ball State University with an MA in Community Counseling, Marcus has used his skills to shape the lives of many individuals in a variety of settings.  Beginning in 1995, Marcus began his work with risk youth after joining a team of staff for a pilot program that taught independent living skills to at risk teenagers.  He continued his work with adolescents by becoming a residential therapist and Aftercare counselor at a facility for at risk and behavioral boys and girls.  While working as an Aftercare counselor, his interest in ABA grew tremendously due to its high rate of success with the clients he served.

Tyler Pledger, M.S., BCBA

Tyler Pledger, originally from Lyerly, GA, received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology at Shorter College (now Shorter University) in Rome, GA in December 2006. During his time at Shorter, he began working at Northwest Georgia Regional Hospital. Mr. Pledger was affiliated with NWGRH for over five years, during which time he held several positions, including Behavior Technician and Behavior Specialist. These positions, and his increasing interest in the practice of Applied Behavior Analysis, led him to pursue a graduate degree in the field. Mr. Pledger received his Master of Science degree in Applied Psychology from Jacksonville State University at Jacksonville, AL in April 2011. His special interests in Applied Behavior Analysis include behavioral economics, impulsivity and self-control, and problem behaviors in aging and geriatric adults.

Charles Shyblosky, Director of Partnerships and Relations, began in 2011, after spending the past 5 years working in the Public Relations field, working in Middle Tennessee. He’s led and facilitated workshops and seminars across the United States. His background in Sales and Marketing brings an added component to a great team, as we look to establish new partnerships in the Middle and East Regions of Tennessee. Charles is a graduate of Mid-America Christian University.

Jonathan Timm, M.A., BCBA

Jonathan Timm came to Elite Behavior Analysis in 2011 with his MA from Western Michigan University, having studied in the Behavior Analysis Training System under Dr. Richard Malott, PhD, BCBA-D. With a background focused in developmental disabilities, early intervention autism services, and performance management, Timm understands the value of systematic and intensive approaches to behavior analytic treatment. He is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and a DIDD approved behavior analyst currently providing services in the Middle Tennessee region. Timm is a member of the Association for Behavior Analysis International and the Behavior Analysis Association of Michigan.

Chih “Kris” Yi

Chih Yi is a native of Mumbai, India. “Kris,” as he is fondly called, has a degree in Dentistry. In 2006, when he moved to the United States of America, he was introduced to population with intellectual and physical disabilities and began working at a local provider agency as a Client Program Coordinator. In 2007, he joined a Support Coordination agency and worked as an Independent Support Coordinator/Case Manager. He facilitated services through DIDD for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Kris joined Elite Behavior Analysis, LLC in June 2011 as the Director of Human Resouces.
